We wish to help you in every way possible during your treatment with us. The goal of American Habitare and Counseling, Inc. is to assist you in establishing and maintaining a productive, meaningful life free from illicit substances and alcohol.

At American Habitare and Counseling, Inc., we believe that methadone and Suboxone/Subutex are therapeutic tools of recovery. For some people, the desired change in lifestyle may occur through a successful detoxification from licit/illicit opioid dependency by decreasing their dose of methadone or Suboxone/Subutex medication.

For other individuals, the use of a methadone/Suboxone maintenance program provides longer-term stability and the opportunity to slowly change many aspects of one's life. We believe that you can positively begin to change your life while on a methadone/Suboxone maintenance program.

WHAT WE DO?

Addiction to heroin, alcohol and other drugs is a disease. Conquering this disease requires not only taking care of your physical needs (such as methadone maintenance or detoxification) but also dealing with the mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of changing who you are, how you think and what you do.

Your best chance at achieving a full and lasting recovery is by actively participating in counseling and by utilizing a support system while you follow your methadone or Suboxone/Subutex detoxification or maintenance treatment plan. We solicit input from you in the form of Client Satisfaction Surveys, Family Day Satisfaction Surveys, reviews, input provided in the suggestion box, input provided during the individual sessions, input provided to the client advocates, etc.

At American Habitare and Counseling, Inc., your treatment includes weekly individual and group counseling sessions with professionally trained staff. We require you to actively participate in these sessions. We look forward to your success at American Habitare and Counseling, Inc.
